Somewhere between the public vote and the envelope, something else became obvious: all three girls had walked out in black.
ITV stripped this final right back. Eighty minutes, three couples instead of four after Mica and Samraj were handed the power to dump Yasmin and Tommy, no final dates, no declarations, and no dress-shopping montage. So the looks landed with no build-up at all. One minute it was interviews, the next all six of them were under the heart arch and the girls had very obviously landed on the same brief.

Julia Majchrzak's black long-sleeved column dress
Julia won in the most covered-up dress on the terrace. Floor-length, high neck, long sleeves pushed and ruched at the wrist, in a black jersey with just enough sheen to catch the last of the light, and not a crystal anywhere on it. The gold does all the work instead: one chunky gold earring, one wide gold cuff. It photographs as a single clean line, which is why it reads sharper than anything else in the shot. She also wore the only look of the three with sleeves.
