Frequently Asked Questions
What shoes should every woman own?▾
Clean white trainers for everyday. Black ankle boots for autumn and winter. Pointed-toe flats for smart-casual. Nude or black heels for formal. Comfortable sandals for summer. Five pairs that cover the vast majority of situations. Build from this core, adding seasonal pieces as you go. Our Discover feed surfaces trending styles to inspire what comes next.
How do I break in new shoes without blisters?▾
Wear around the house in short sessions first, gradually increasing. Thick socks stretch leather. Blister-prevention balm on friction points. Heel grips and gel insoles reduce rubbing. Leather softening spray speeds things up for stiffer styles. Patience prevents pain.
Are preloved shoes hygienic?▾
With proper care, absolutely. Clean insoles with antibacterial spray. Insert cedar shoe trees to absorb moisture and odour. Condition leather. Most preloved shoes on SO-ME are in good condition, you're giving quality footwear a second life while reducing waste. It's one of the most sustainable choices in fashion.
