If you know the size, a beautiful lace set or silk camisole always works. If you're unsure, one-size bralettes, silk eye masks, or a SO-ME gift card let the recipient choose. Classic colours (black, blush, ivory) are safest. Quality fabric over trendy design, it ages better.

Underwear is functional. Lingerie emphasises aesthetics, silk, lace, satin, decorative details. But the line has blurred considerably. Many brands now create everyday pieces that are both beautiful and functional. You don't have to choose between looking good and feeling comfortable.

Hand wash in cool water with gentle detergent, or use a mesh bag on a delicates cycle. Never tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to dry away from heat. Fasten hooks before washing to prevent snagging. Store flat rather than crushing, especially moulded cups. The effort pays off in longevity.
